Hindi is a fisherman, a good and tolerant person. There are problems, absurdities and contradictions in his daily life. But he resists all challenges and believes that "if people are good, God will help them." Flora is a blind woman who sees people with her heart. Together with other heroes on a small "non-commercial" coast, they are trying to survive - in a life of "barter", against mutts who want to destroy the village and build illegally luxury hotels in its place ... "Barter" is a story with Varna roots and a continuation of the theme from the documentary film by director Atanas Kiryakov - "Enchanted by the Sea". Both films are about the lives of fishermen. Atanas Kiryakov is from Varna and has been watching their struggle for survival for 30 years. "Barter" was filmed for 19 days on the beach in the Asparuhovo district of Varna and with a lot of warmth recreates the joys and sorrows of fishing.
