The first film about the Goryan movement in Bulgaria A two-part documentary

A story about the longest and first armed resistance against communist rule in the entire Eastern bloc, established after the Second World War - the one in Bulgaria and about the fate of the participants in it - the Goryans. The author has collected invaluable stories of surviving participants in the Goryan movement in the most important regions of the country - Kyustendil, Pirin region, Srednogorie, Ruse and Sliven. Their authentic account of the events of more than 60 years ago is complemented by relatives of the victims. To this day, this period of Bulgarian history is not taught in schools or in history lectures at universities ... The film is supported by important documentary evidence of large-scale operations undertaken by the Bulgarian Communist Party against the Goryans through the State Security and the police to break of their resistance.
