Debut in feature film by Antoniy Donchev - screenwriter and director of more than 20 documentaries and short feature films, with many years of experience as the first assistant director in Bulgarian and international productions of Andreas Pancis, Georgi Dyulgerov, Binka Zhelyazkova, Tony Palmer, Bernhard Zinkel, Ulrich Edel, Valeria Sarmiento, Josh Becker and others.
Nearly 10 languages and dialects are spoken in "The Woman of My Life", shot mainly in the Kurdistan Autonomous Region of northern Iraq.
The author of the idea and co-writer of the film is the Kurdish journalist Ali Talib.
